Zivilė Juonyte joined the “Bagel Shop” tolerance campaign as a volunteer in 2014 soon after the campaign was launched. Ever since she has been using writing as a tool to promote tolerance, introduce Jewish topics to the Lithuanian audience and combat anti-semitism. Zivile holds an MA degree in Israel Studies: Society and Politics and is a proud supporter and advocate of Israel. Currently Zivile is working in the Vilna Gaon State Jewish Museum as communications coordinator.
